Plastic Detox (plasticdetox.org) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

What We Collect

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (country/city level). We do not collect or store personally identifiable information through analytics.

Email address. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored and processed by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. We use your email only to send periodic tips about reducing plastic exposure. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Quiz results. Your quiz results are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so you can return to them later. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect names, phone numbers, or payment information.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use tracking pixels or retargeting ads.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. These are first party cookies set by Google's analytics script. No advertising cookies are used on this site.

Our store contains affiliate links to Amazon and other retailers. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
